We stayed at the Chelsea Pub & Inn (8 S Morris Ave), which is a bed and breakfast a couple times and breakfast was included in the price of the hotel.īut for the most part, the casino hotels don’t offer a complementary continental breakfast, which you know is one of my favorite things. Many of the casinos have a buffet, so that’s always a crowd pleaser. There are so many restaurants in Atlantic City. But it’s better than the carnival because it’s open year round.

The whole pier has a very carnival-like vibe to it. It currently has rides (including a carousel and bumper cars), food (like pizza and fries), and carnival games (you can shoot hoops, squirt guns, and more). Steel Pier was founded in 1898, and of course, Steel Pier has changed a bit since then. If you don’t do heights, you can still do the Steel Pier (1000 Boardwalk). If you don’t go for a ride, be sure to look for The Wheel at night when it’s lit up by 14,500 lights. They can also hold up to six people each, so the entire family can have fun together. Each of the 40 gondolas are temperature controlled. Atlantic City is beautiful lit up, but I know what you’re thinking. It’s $13.50 for a ride (kids 2 and under are free), and it is open from 2 pm to 8 pm Monday through Friday noon to 11 pm on Saturday and noon to 9 pm on Sunday. So The Wheel At Steel Pier (1000 Boardwalk) gives you an aerial view of the entire town during its 15 minute ride. The Wheel At Steel Pierįerris wheels are so much fun, especially in towns like Atlantic City because there’s so much to look at. Bally’s does charge its hotel guests also, so check these things out before choosing what hotel to book. There are some other casinos, like Bally’s, that will allow paid public access to the pools. So check the pool’s website before you go. The Pool After Dark does requires a cover charge from hotel guests and non-hotel guests because of the big names that come deejay, like Jersey Shore’s Pauly D, Ja Rule, Kevin Federline, and more. The pool at Harrah’s allows free access to the pool for hotel guests during the day (it’s included in your resort fee) and non-hotel guests can pay a cover charge (the exception is Saturday after 11 am when hotel guests have to pay too because there’s a DJ at noon). The pool at Harrah’s (777 Harrah’s Blvd) even does The Pool After Dark, where there are DJ’s and flashing lights, so the pool is basically transformed into a nightclub. If you’re staying in Atlantic City and the beach isn’t your thing, almost all of the hotels have access to indoor and/or outdoor pools for hotel guests.
